If you usually wax, pluck, thread, or mechanically remove hair from the root, you will need to stop at least two weeks before your consultation. This is because laser treatment works on pigmented hair. If you remove the hair from the root, you remove the pigment and you will not get ultimate results. Between treatments, we advise our clients to shave or trim. The advantage is that one doesn’t need to grow the hair as you do for waxing. If you have facial hair, we advise you to use a facial trimmer or facial scissors. These are widely available at most beauty stores and are relatively inexpensive.

No. Please do not tan, use self-tan or a sunbed at least two weeks before, or after your laser treatment.

As such please be advised that we are no longer treating pregnant clients for any of the Bikini, Brazilian, or Hollywood zones (and of course, stomach lines) unless you have specific permission from your gynecologist or obstetrician. There is no issue with the laser and pregnancy with regards to safety, but as we do not know how your hormones are fluctuating and/or which medications or supplements you are taking during pregnancy, we require your own doctor’s assurance that the laser treatment may be carried out so that the best hair removal results can be achieved.
